Little Steps

From 10,000 ft in the air, at 3 'o clock in the afternoon,  I could still see Times Square shining as bright as it had at midnight on Xmas Eve when i was standing right in front of it. And as i touched down in Pittsburgh International Airport 4 hours later, I could faintly see the outline of the Cathedral of Learning (helping drunk kids get home since 1908) in Oakland among the mostly nondescript Pittsburgh skyline.
Sometimes when i cant sleep at night, I look out my window at the traffic lights changing down Forbes Ave, one of the two busiest streets in Pittsburgh. Life changes just as easily.
I guess what I want to say is that sometime when you try to take a step back and get a better look at a situation, it looks the same. And thats because there isn't more to it than what meets the eye, it is what it is.
Life is real.
And it takes more than a plane ride to get a change of scenery.
